Różowe jezioro w Torrevieja to jedna z najpiękniejszych i najbardziej zaskakujących atrakcji w rejonie Costa Blanca. Położone w malowniczym parku naturalnym Las Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja, zachwyca nie tylko niezwykłym kolorem wody, lecz także swoim znaczeniem ekologicznym i zdrowotnym.
Skąd bierze się różowy kolor?

Różowe zabarwienie laguny to efekt działania mikroalg Dunaliella salina oraz bakterii halofilnych, które w wysokim zasoleniu produkują czerwone barwniki. W połączeniu z silnym hiszpańskim słońcem nadają one wodzie spektakularny, różowo-fioletowy kolor. To zjawisko szczególnie dobrze widoczne w upalne letnie dni, gdy woda jest bardziej skoncentrowana.
Historia i znaczenie

Laguny Torrevieja i La Mata od wieków były wykorzystywane do wydobycia soli. Już w średniowieczu stanowiły ważne źródło dochodu dla regionu, a dziś nadal funkcjonują tu solanki, które produkują jedną z najbardziej cenionych soli stołowych w Europie. Jezioro wciąż jest objęte ochroną jako część parku naturalnego, co pozwala zachować jego unikalne ekosystemy.
Zdrowotne właściwości

Wysokie zasolenie jeziora można porównać do słynnego Morza Martwego. Powietrze bogate w jod, sól i minerały wpływa korzystnie na drogi oddechowe, skórę i ogólne samopoczucie. Mieszkańcy i turyści często spacerują wzdłuż brzegu laguny, aby czerpać korzyści z tego naturalnego mikroklimatu.
Flora i fauna

Laguna jest również ważnym siedliskiem dla ptaków wędrownych. Można tu zobaczyć flamingi, które szczególnie chętnie odwiedzają różowe jezioro, wtapiając się kolorystycznie w jego krajobraz. Niestety jak tam byłam nie było ani jednego ptaka. Podobno jest ich więcej wiosna, ale wtedy woda jest mniej różowa.
Jak zwiedzać różowe jezioro?

Bezpośrednie kąpiele w jeziorze są niedozwolone, ponieważ jest ono chronionym rezerwatem przyrody. Najlepszym sposobem na podziwianie laguny jest spacer trasami wokół parku lub udział w wycieczce z przewodnikiem. W niektórych okresach organizowane są również specjalne wycieczki kolejką turystyczną, które prowadzą w okolice soli i pozwalają przyjrzeć się bliżej naturalnym procesom jej pozyskiwania.
Dlaczego warto je zobaczyć?

Różowe jezioro w Torrevieja to miejsce, które łączy w sobie magię natury, historię i walory zdrowotne. To jedna z najczęściej fotografowanych atrakcji Costa Blanca, która na długo pozostaje w pamięci każdego odwiedzającego. Spacer wokół laguny, zachód słońca odbijający się w różowej tafli wody i możliwość obserwacji flamingów to doświadczenia, których nie da się zapomnieć.
